Trinity Regatta is an annual regatta, first held in 1866, and is the largest sporting event held by the university. It features dramatic displays of two-lane racing on a 1800m stretch from Chapelizod to Islandbridge. National and International (Dutch, British, German) crews come to race this spectacular event, showcasing rowing excellence.

In addition to racing, it is also a fantastic social event, with many spectators enjoying the atmosphere along the tow-bank. Rowers will be seen proudly displaying their striking rowing blazers, adding a unique feel to the event.

There is a café set up for some light snacks and from 12 noon a bar will become available serving drinks.
