Weave Your Way Through The Liberties
The Liberties Weavers have created and published a free walking tour of The Liberties that celebrates the area’s rich weaving and textile tradition. Featuring three interconnected routes and over 30 points of interest, the interactive guide tells the history of weaving in the area and highlights various buildings and places connected with the trade.
A new Dublin Literary self-guided tour was produced and published by the annual Jonathan Swift Festival.
Dublin, the city where Swift spent most of his life, is brimming with history and literary inspiration. This self guided walking tour (centred between Dublin 8 and Dublin 2) explores the places associated with the renowned author and satirist, Jonathan Swift.

This self guided audio tour of The Liberties was created by Jack Redmond.
The tour starts in front of the Lord Edward, a historical pub opposite Christ Church Cathedral, in Temple Bar. From there, you’ll wind your way through the Liberties’ back alleys and side streets to see lovingly maintained monuments, churches and red-bricked terraced homes.
