In 1926, the first census of the independent Irish State was taken, capturing a unique , raw snapshot of post-independence life. We aren't just looking at the numbers - we’re bringing them to life.
What to Expect: Be greeted at the door by actors straight out of the 1920s, ready to welcome you into the new Republic. Live musicians playing the popular tunes and folk songs that filled Dublin’s streets and parlours in 1926. Your ticket includes samples of food and drink popular in the era - expect a true taste of 1920s Dublin. A mix of podcast-style storytelling and expert insight into the lives recorded in the census.
