

City of Dublin FET Presents: Learning, Community & Culture Event – Integration Has Many Faces

This event will showcase the people, history and cultures that shape the adult learning community in our community development course.
The event will include a community exhibition exploring the culture of City of Dublin FET Thomas Street community learners and it will include guided tours of centre, a community adult education information desk, and will also feature One Photo, One Story AONTAS Adult Learners’ Festival Exhibition cultural profiles of learners and staff.
We are inviting City of Dublin FET Adult Education Officer to guest speak at this event.
Our group consists of a diverse range of learners from the community development QQI level 5 course based at the new City of Dublin FET College Thomas Street Premises . Through our studies, we are currently exploring culture, identity and community. We are keen to connect this learning with the lived experiences and culture profiles of the participants, tutors, and staff based in D8.
Our event aligns with the Culture Date in Dublin 8 mission to celebrate place, heritage, and community through participation, and shared experiences.
