Edward Worth Library

The book-collection assembled by Edward Worth (1676-1733), a notable Dublin physician, is one of the treasures of the city’s cultural inheritance. It is housed in Dr Steevens’ Hospital, an institution of which Worth was a governor and major benefactor. Tours (by appointment) throughout the year, Monday-Friday. Open Days for specific events. Tours must be booked via e-mail info@edwardworthlibrary.ie and numbers per tour are limited to no more than 23 persons per tour.
