

OPW: Tour of the Irish National War Memorial Gardens

Located close to the Phoenix Park in Dublin City the Irish National War Memorial Gardens were built in memory of the Irish soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War.
Designed by Edwin Lutyens, a well-known garden designer, the gardens include Sunken rose gardens and extensive tree planting. This tour will also include access to the four bookrooms which are dedicated to housing memorabilia from both World Wars. The books include illustrations by Harry Clarke.
Please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear, as this is an outdoor tour.
