Space Out Sister | vintage shop Dublin
Circa 1960s Vintage Babydoll
Step into a piece of Dublin 8’s textile history with a special window exhibition at Space Out Sister Shop on Francis Street.
Following last year’s glimpse into life inside Glen Abbey Textiles on Patrick Street, this year’s display brings something even rarer to the street. A curated selection of original vintage pieces made in Glen Abbey will be showcased, offering a unique opportunity to see these beautifully crafted garments up close.
Once a cornerstone of local industry, Glen Abbey Textiles played a significant role in the working and cultural life of the Liberties. These rare pieces speak not only to the craftsmanship of the time, but to the stories of the people who made and wore them.
Pause at the window, take in the detail, and reconnect with a rich chapter of Dublin 8’s heritage, right where it happened.
