Title TK, wetpaint, Nobodies [BIMM Music Institute Showcase] at The Thomas House
Step into the raw, high-voltage edge of Dublin’s underground music scene with this Late in D8 showcase, bringing together three uncompromising live acts for a night of noise, energy and catharsis.
Deriving their name from the iconic Breeders album, Title TK craft raw, emotionally feral indie rock that’s equal parts gnashing guitars and breathless urgency. Channeling the spirit of Pixies and Modest Mouse, the five-piece tear through desire, frustration and catharsis with driving rhythms and barking refrains, creating moody, hazy worlds that hit hard and linger long after the last chord.
Joining them are wetpaint, an indie/alternative rock band known for their emotionally charged songwriting and dynamic live performances. Blending sharp melodies with theatrical energy, their sound channels both vulnerability and power, capturing attention from the first note.
Opening the night, Nobodies bring a spirited and eclectic take on rock, delivering melodic, conviction-driven sets that round out a line-up full of attitude and edge.
Part of the BIMM Dublin showcase series, this is a night for those drawn to the louder, grittier side of emerging music, unfiltered, atmospheric and alive.
