Beta Festival

Beta Festival

Taking place across multiple sites in Dublin 8 including The Digital Hub, Pallas Studios, IMMA and beyond in the Alliance Française, Project Arts Centre and Dublin Port, Beta is Ireland’s festival of art and technology where creativity meets critical inquiry.

This year, Beta 2025: Fluid States explores ideas of fluidity across water, language, information, and quantum worlds spaces where boundaries blur and new forms emerge.

From exhibitions at Dublin Port to performances, workshops, and discussions across the city, the festival invites audiences to think with water, through data, and beyond the binaries of fixed form.

At the heart of the programme, Undercurrent: As Below, So Above features artists Kat Austen, Lauren Moffatt, and Siobhán McDonald, whose works reimagine ports and oceans as sites of connection and repair.

The Beta Conference (14–16 Nov) gathers artists, technologists, and researchers to explore how art and technology co-create our future, from AI ethics to quantum poetics.

Flowing through Dublin’s cultural and infrastructural spaces, Beta 2025 transforms technology into a medium for empathy, imagination, and renewal.
