Dublin Decoded A Walking Tour Between Three Great Liberties Churches
Dublin Decoded Tours
A walking tour of the Liberties, discussing the of the architecture and history of the area.
We will visit some of the great churches in the area, including old Saint Audoen's, the oldest church in Dublin; and Saint Nicholas of Myra on Francis St, with its remarkable history.
Our tour will conclude with a visit to the John's Lane Church, to look at its beautiful, highly distinctive architecture, its sculpture, decoration, and very fine stained glass.
In addition to the tour-leader and architectural enthusiast Arran Henderson, we will also be joined on our tour by author and art historian David Caron, Ireland's leading authority in stained glass.
