A Tribute to Dan Donnelly at Fallon's

Join us at Fallon’s on Monday, 19 October for a special evening celebrating the life and legacy of legendary Dublin 8 boxer Dan Donnelly.

As part of the evening, we’ll present Fallon’s with a replica of Donnelly’s famous arm, created by Dublin 8 artist Alan Clarke, for our In the Ring with Dan Donnelly and Dublin’s Boxing Heroes event at the National Stadium during the 2026 CDD8 Festival.

Donal Fallon and Dan Donnelly biographer Patrick Myler will share a few words, with Patrick revealing fascinating new discoveries about Dan’s life—and the strange history of his severed arm, traced as far back as the late 19th century.

With more special guests to be announced, it promises to be a brilliant night of stories, history and Dublin character.
