The Guinness Storehouse launched a new video series in 2024, to coincide with the Culture Date with Dublin 8 festival to capture and share the stories of the amazing people and local businesses of The Liberties, which make the area so special.
The Liberties is known as a dynamic fusion of new and old Dublin. With 800 years of history – and much of this still visible today – it’s one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods. Guinness has a long history in the Liberties, employing many people from the area since it's beginnings in 1759.
