GAG REFLEX, wetpaint, Nobodies [BIMM Showcase]
at The Thomas House
Step into the raw, high-voltage edge of Dublin’s underground music scene with this Late in D8 showcase, bringing together three uncompromising live acts for a night of noise, energy and catharsis.
Fronted by the visceral intensity of GAG REFLEX, this Irish-German grunge outfit crafts a sound that is as poetic as it is confrontational—moving between haunting lyricism and explosive outbursts. With a growing reputation across Ireland, the UK and beyond, they draw audiences into a world that is dark, immersive and impossible to ignore.
Joining them are wetpaint, an indie/alternative rock band known for their emotionally charged songwriting and dynamic live performances. Blending sharp melodies with theatrical energy, their sound channels both vulnerability and power, capturing attention from the first note.
Opening the night, Nobodies bring a spirited and eclectic take on rock, delivering melodic, conviction-driven sets that round out a line-up full of attitude and edge.
Part of the BIMM Dublin showcase series, this is a night for those drawn to the louder, grittier side of emerging music—unfiltered, atmospheric and alive.

GAG REFLEX is an Irish-German Grunge band that builds their lustral soundscape one gut punch at a time. Drawing from gory literature such as Diane Seuss and Sarah Kane, their poetry soars sickeningly sweet only to be gutted by coarse and striking outbursts. Since forming in late 2022, they have played the many stages of Ireland and the UK, such as Whelan's Ones To Watch, The Windmill Brixton, and Output Belfast.
Identified as a mainstay in the Irish underground scene, GAG REFLEX invites their audience into a grimy world of chaos and pure catharsis. With the successful release of their debut single 'MAN ENOUGH' and a subsequent German tour under their belt, the band kicked off 2026 supporting Crywank in Limerick, and have their sophomore single and accompanying music video slated for spring release, sure to leave something crawling in the skin of their listeners, desperate to be haunted again.
