Brennan & Wells: Open Studio
Pallas Projects/Studios
An open studio event with artists Emma Brennan and Thomas Wells at the beginning of a three week residency at Pallas Projects. This is an opportunity to meet the artist duo ahead of their duration performance, 'The House of Atreus' starting from Tuesday 12th to Saturday 16th.
'The House of Atreus' is an ongoing collaborative project between Emma Brennan and Thomas Wells exploring how working class architecture reflects contemporary social and moral systems. This partnering of experiences intersects gendered labour practices, working-class identity and the entanglement of domestic and industrial spaces.
During a Pallas Projects residency here in The Liberties, the two artists will respond to the history of the area, through workshops performance and exhibition. The project will close on Saturday 23rd of May, with a public reception.
