The Irish National War Memorial Gardens at Islandbridge, Dublin, were designed by Edwin Lutyens, and commemorate the memory of the Irish people who died in the First and Second World Wars. The tour will cover the history of the location as a Viking burial site as well as an important ancient fording point of the River Liffey.
