For the first time, this year's programme features guided boat trips on the Grand canal circular line, that much loved and enduring feature of our local landscape.
Aboard the iconic Old Liffey Ferry, in the course of our voyage from Griffith Bridge to Portobello harbour (and back!), our friendly guides will introduce us to the canal's history and heritage while also pointing out some of the significant landmarks along the way.
Boat Tours are subject to Waterways Ireland licence and are organised with the support of the Dublin Inland Waterways Association (IWAI) and the Irish Nautical Trust, operators of the Old Liffey Ferry.
