Some events require ticket booking. Events book out quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 

WHAT'S NEW IN KILMAINHAM GAOL - CURATORS TOUR OF THE PERMANENT COLLECTION

This tour of the permanent exhibition in Kilmainham Gaol will focus on historic objects that have recently gone on display in the museum, some for the first time. These items include the last letter of one of the four young men executed in Kilmainham during the Civil War in November 1922, a nurses uniform from the 1916 Rising and two atlases drawn by Pat Lynch, a prisoner in the Gaol following the 1798 rebellion. The tour will be led by the museums curator Brian Crowley who will also talk about how the museum chooses for exhibition.

A guided tour of Kilmainham Gaol for children aged 8 -12 years old. Explore the architecture of the prison, hear stories of crimes committed by children and learn about some the gaols most famous prisoners. Children must accompanied by an adult.

*When booking it is one ticket per person, not one ticket per family, only people with tickets will be allowed entry, thank you.
