IMMA EXPLORER Activity Packs are available from the front reception desk. Families can use the map together to find out about the artworks that are outdoors in IMMA’s grounds, and children can engage with IMMA’s building, garden and galleries using the IMMA Explorer activity booklet.

Gaze is the third annual exhibition in the IMMA Collection: Freud Project; a major five-year initiative around fifty-two works by painter Lucian Freud (1922-2011) that have been lent to the museum’s Collection. Gaze continues to actively explore Freud’s practice by positioning his works alongside those of other artists from the IMMA Collection.

FAMILY WORKSHOP: EXPLORER

Get creative together as a family, explore artworks with IMMA staff, and enjoy a hands-on workshop in the galleries. Explorer is a fun way to explore and learn about art.

EXHIBITION GUIDED TOUR - DORIS SALCEDO ACTS OF MOURNING

Doris Salcedo (b. 1958, Colombia), is one of the world’s leading sculptors whose work is deeply rooted in her native Colombia. This is her first solo exhibition in Ireland and reflects Salcedo’s continued focus on the experience of mourning and the connections between, violence, anonymity and public space.
