Join us for a tour of the magnificent formal gardens and meadows, exploring the flora and fauna of IMMA and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. This tour is led by Sandra Murphy, a member of IMMA’s Visitor Engagement Team and an amateur wildlife photographer and Birder. You can read Sandra’s articles in the IMMA magazine on the biodiversity of birds, butterflies and wild flowers found on our 48 acre site.

Explore the work of artists in Chapter One: Queer Embodiment of the major museum-wide exhibition The Narrow Gate of the Here-and-Now. The exhibition showcases the history of the Museum since 1991 and traces urgent themes across the 30-year period as they impact the personal, the political and the planetary. This is the final weekend to see Queer Embodiment as it ends on 15 May.

Visit the ambitious exhibition called The Narrow Gate of the Here-and-Now that showcases the IMMA Collection and the history of the Museum since 1991. Presented in four themed exhibitions and with over 200 artworks that includes a wide range of contemporary Irish artists. This is the final weekend to see Chapter One: Queer Embodiment as it ends on 15 May. The exhibitions available to visit are: Chapter One: Queer Embodiment; Chapter Two: The Anthropocene; Chapter Three: Social Fabric and Chapter Four: Protest and Conflict.
