OUTDOOR CONCERT AT THE TEMPLE
SATURDAY 18TH MAY
3PM - 4:30PM
An afternoon concert in the temple of Goldenbridge Cemetery. Based on the famous Pére Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, Goldenbridge is Ireland's oldest non-denominational cemetery that welcomed those of all religions and none in the wake of the Penal Laws. The cemetery was reopened in a commemorative event for Culture Date with Dublin 8 in 2017.
This afternoon concert will feature historical re-enactments and a special collaborative performance by the St. James’s Brass Band in association with Common Ground.
