Step back in time and take a guided tour through the streets of Dublin 8’s Liberties’ Quarter with the Guinness Archives. The Guinness Brewery has been a defining influence in this area since Arthur Guinness famously signed the lease on the St. James’s Gate site in 1759. Journey through these historic streets and learn about this deep connection as well as experiencing the revitalisation of this part of contemporary Dublin.

The Edward Worth Library in Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin 8, is, quite literally, a gem of a collection. With its wonderfully preserved glittering spines and its unique early eighteenth-century glass bookcases, it offer readers and visitors an opportunity to enter the private world of a Dublin physician and connoisseur book collector at the start of the eighteenth century.
