Open studio & Talk with Artist Pat Curran

This event will celebrate and mark the end of the residency of artist Pat Curran at The Lodge. Pat has been based at The Lodge since September 2019. His open studio practice has been an exchange with local people. Most of the subjects and ideas for Pat’s paintings come from his own lived experience and ideas surrounding social and political topics. His work reflects how inner-city Dublin life is changing and how it contributes to a wider conversation about class, social justice and access to artistic expression.

There will be an open studio from 1pm-2pm at The Lodge where you are invited to view Pat’s paintings, booking is not necessary.

From 2pm – 3pm Pat will give a talk at The Lodge on his work and paintings. There are a limited number of tickets for the talk, booking is necessary through Eventbrite.
